    Bespoke Jewellery

    From Concept to Creation

Michael Isaac has brought back as much of the jewellery creation process to the UK as possible. Along with our fine jewellery collections, all our bespoke jewellery creations, including engagement rings, eternity rings and wedding bands are designed, cast, assembled and lovingly hand finished in Britain. Our hallmarks are assayed in Sheffield and are stamped with the Yorkshire Rose quality mark. Our team of jewellery artisans combine time tested techniques with cutting edge technology in the pursuit of creating tomorrow’s vintage. It is this marriage between the new and the old that gives each piece of jewellery its unique charm and personality. British excellence lies at the heart of Michael Isaac. The bespoke service, from signing off on your jewellery design until its completion will take between 3-5 weeks, depending on its complexity.

    Stage 1

    Bespoke Consultation

Your bespoke jewellery journey begins when you book a consultation. We will contact you by telephone to make any necessary preparations for our meeting. The initial consultation will take place either in a luxurious design suite at one of our Yorkshire stockists located in Harrogate, York  or Northallerton or in the comfort and privacy of your own home via Skype. This is a chance for you to share your thoughts, tastes and inspirations with our designer and gemologist.

    Stage 2

    Bespoke Design

Having gathered enough information to take the bespoke jewellery design process forward, the designer then puts pen to paper and begins to sketch his ideas and develop mood boards. Working closely with you, we produce a final draft of the piece in CAD (Computer Aided Design) format, which shows a lifelike rendered image of the piece from a number of angles.

    Stage 3

    Bespoke Creation

Once you are happy with the jewellery design and have signed it off we create a wax sculpture of the piece which is then cast in your desired precious metal. Once cast, our master craftsman uses time tested techniques to hand set and finish your own miniature work of art.

Our bespoke jewellery design service is designed to cater to all styles and budgets. Each bespoke piece of jewellery is as individual as the person wearing it, therefore it is only possible to give an accurate costing after the consultation. The initial consultation is free of charge.

After the consultation and receiving your quotation, if you are happy to proceed to the jewellery design stage, we will request a deposit of £250. This amount is deducted from the final cost of your bespoke jewellery creation. Once you have signed off on the final design we will request 50% of the total cost. The outstanding amount is payable on completion of your bespoke item of jewellery.

From the moment you sign off the design, your bespoke jewellery creation will take 3 weeks to complete. Every bespoke creation is hallmarked in Sheffield and contains the Yorkshire Rose stamp along with Michael Isaac’s marque.

Your bespoke item comes beautifully wrapped in our luxurious packaging. We also include your very own bespoke brochure detailing how your item was brought to life from concept to creation along with a valuation certificate and any relevant documentation. Your bespoke jewellery creation is then either posted out to you fully insured or is available for collection at one of our Harrogate, York or Northallerton stockists.

If you have any questions, would like to arrange a consultation, or wish to place an order, please get in touch.
